Grant Camera Access

Rise&Open uses your built-in FaceTime camera with Apple's Vision framework to detect hand poses. Everything runs locally — no data leaves your Mac.

Map Your Fingers

Open settings and assign any installed app to each of the 5 fingers. Safari on thumb, Messages on index — fully customisable, changes take effect immediately.

Raise & Hold

Show exactly one finger to your camera and hold it steady. A progress bar fills for about 1 second, then the mapped app launches instantly.

Running in under a minute

Quick Install

            # 1. Open the DMG and drag to Applications

            $ open RiseOpen.dmg

            # 2. Remove quarantine flag (unsigned build)

            $ xattr -cr /Applications/RiseOpen.app

            # 3. Re-sign locally

            $ codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/RiseOpen.app

            # 4. Launch — grant Camera permission when prompted

            $ open /Applications/RiseOpen.app
